Official Opening Florimex Great Success!
 

2 November at four o’clock the doors of our Open House were finally opened officially. Guests were rushing in being surprised by the encounter of a special entourage: a festive atmosphere, lights and nice music. Big hit was the ferris wheel which was the central eye-catcher of the event. The ferris wheel filled with flowers, plants, bouquets and cut foliage was an obvious reflection of one of the Florimex Group’s new strategies: One-Stop-Shop. A few weeks before the opening Florimex moved four companies to one premises: Baardse (plants), Starkenburg (flowers), Greens (cut foliage) and the holding. Having the companies and also the products under one roof, to Florimex it seemed a logical next step to fill the ferris wheel with all the products available at one address. Of course there is a deeper thought behind the idea. The customer takes advantage of the One-Stop-Shop principle. Buying flowers, plants, cut foliage and bouquets at one address, saves the customer time on purchasing and saves costs on shipments. Customers benefit from economies of scale and transportation of the products is possible in a single lorry. If necessary refrigerated and unrefrigerated products can be combined.
